STELLA

Shot in Glendale, California. We were preparing to relocate Stella to a very special breeder friend and decided to commemorate our last hang for a while with a shoot. Stella is a Ghost Morph Ball Python. Velvet H&M Jacket, Teal Satin Necktie.

AN ENGAGEMENT

Shot in Eagle Rock, California. The inspiration for this shoot was the recent engagement of my dear Australian friends, Ant and Ayline. The car we shot with was around the corner from their AirBNB. We had just raided one of my favorite vintage warehouses and had an abundance of wardrobe to utilize. We mixed in what they'd brought with them and put these warm relaxed looks together. 

Ant and Ayline are Gold Coast natives of Australia. We met by chance at Fiesta Cantina when Ant was on holiday in LA and then immediately went to Vegas to meet Ayline. Ant is half Indonesian and Ayline is of Turkish descent. You can follow them both at @Antfray and @Smayline

MARRIED TO THE MOB

Shot in South Pasadena, California. This shoot was heavily inspired by Michelle Pfieffer's character in the 1988 movie Married to the Mob. Featuring a beautiful '79 Malibu on loan from Stefan Seay. For wardrobe, we decided to keep the looks achromatic with gold accents and used luxurious furs, silks, and sexy cuts for a bold statement. Faux Fur Jacket in white, American Apparel Swimsuit in black, Model's own gold jewelry, Vintage black beaded clutch, Bebe cut-out crop, Faux leather miniskirt, Bralette set in black, Vintage white silk Escada trousers.

PAPER DOLL

Shot in Pasadena, California. This shoot incorporated modern pieces and clean lines. Wardrobe features Clear-heeled Sandal by Jeffrey Campbell, Emerald green mesh dress handmade by me, Black Suede Heel-less boot by Jeffrey Campbell, White mesh swimsuit from Fred Segal, Striped Coat by H&M, Feather Neckpiece handmade by me, Vintage 90's red coat.

LA DOÑA

Shot in the Pico Union neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The wardrobe in this series was a beautiful mix of new vintage. Model's own bodysuit, Thrifted Sheer Maxi skirt, Free People Suede Platforms. Urban Outfitters Ruffle Crop Top, Vintage Circle Skirt, Vintage Mexican Leather Handbag, Guess Open Toe Shoe. We shot right in the model's own neighborhood which made this shoot feel so natural and real. The details fell into place perfectly on this project.

PALETA PRINCESS

Shot in Boyle Heights, California. This series took a more contemporary direction. Paleta Princess features bright colors, modern lines, and a sporty edge that is still unapologetically feminine. Forever 21 Sports Bra, StyleStalker Skirt, Vintage Army Pants, TopShop Heeled Sandal. Model Dani had specifically requested our location as an environment that felt authentically Angeleno to her. The result was a gorgeous mash up of verdant California nature and South LA streets.

MONTE CARLO

Shot in Pasadena, California. This series features some of my favorite vintage pieces in my personal collection. Vintage 1960's era Japanese print halter sundress, Vintage 1970's era leather and horsehair coat, and Wildfox Sunglasses. Shot alongside a beautiful 1970 Monte Carlo I got on loan from Dr. Do. This series has a special place in my heart as the very first editorial I ever styled and shot completely on my own. Model Chandler Blasini is absolutely breathtaking at golden hour and she made this so much easier to shoot than I had ever anticipated.
